Stone Castles Take longer to build than Motte and Bailey Castles but are
a lot stronger and that shows beacuse there are still some Stone Castles standing today.

Stone Castles are surounded by high walls and some times a motte with a
draw bridge. All of the waste water was dumped in a cesspit. Stone Castles started over 800 years ago and some of the
fist are still standing today. The keep was surrounded by a curtain wall. This had several towers. Outside the curtain
wall was a moat. The area between the keep and the curtain wall was called the bailey. This contained stables and sheds.
